Julia Chen

Ms. Chen serves as Executive Counsel, Corporate, Securities and Finance at General Electric Company. Prior to joining GE, Julia was an associate in the Boston office of Ropes & Gray.

Before attending law school, Julia served as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy for eight years. She served at sea onboard a destroyer and then an aircraft carrier. Following her time at sea, Julia served at the White House Communications Agency as a Presidential Communications Officer. She received a B.A. from Rice University, an MEM from Old Dominion University and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.

Julia resides north of Boston with her husband, Jason (also a Navy veteran), and their two sons.
